Online Admissions and web counselling are introduced for the first Time in India for admissions into various Govt. & Private ITIs for the session 2017-19 onwards Progress of trainees is tracked for three years through the portal with regard to career progretion.
Aadhaar Enabled Biometric devices are introduced in all Govt. ITIs and Employment Exchanges for staff. Biometric Devices are also introduced for Trainees.
Training cum Placement Cells are constituted in every Govt. ITI for providing placement Assistance. 21,023 candidates have been placed in various industries through placement cells in the academic year 2017-18.
By utilising the existing infrastructural facilities in ITIs, Revenue is generated to the extent of Rs.1.5crores.
Linkages are established with Industries for providing On-Job-Training (OJT) to the trainees and trainers.
MoUs are signed with CPSUs like BDL, MIDHANI, HAL, Large Scale Units in private sector like Tata Aerospace, Toyota, Maruthi Suzuki, Hyundai Ford India and also SSIs. All the 64 Govt. have signed MOUs to provide training to trainers and trainees for effective skill development and to provide placements. Rs.7.28 crores have been mobilised under CSR so far. Latest equipment is also donated to Govt iTI at Musheerabad, Mallepally, Peddapally, Sanathnagar and Kukunoorpally.
New demand driven courses Automobile Body Repair and Automobile Body painting courses are started at Govt ITI Mallepally for which Maruthi Udyog has donated machinery, Equipment and providing Trainers and OJT

Training is imparted to 185 candidates as a special drive in the trades of Electrician, Fitter, Motor Mechanic, Draughtsmen Civil trades at Govt. ITI, Manuguru for the project effected families (Land losers) to provide employment in Bhadradri Thermal Power Plant, Manuguru, Khammam District.
MoU is signed with “India Compu Master” for imparting training to the Govt I.T.I. trainees through cloud computing system for digital learning.
27 Govt I.T.I.s have been enrolled under PMKVY scheme as Vocational Training Providers. The amount so generated by conducting short term courses under PMKVY are utilized for infrastructure development.
25 Govt I.T.Is have achieved above 3.0 grading in 43 DGT prescribed parameters.
Un-popular trades are abolished and trade which are having good demand are introduced.
Online examinations for all ITI trainees will be conducted from July 2019 onwards
Under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Short term courses are being conducted through Private Training Partners and Govt it is. A Target of 33,2300 is allotted to the Training Partners on the recommendations of District Skill Monitoring Committee. Candidates Enrolled is 3781,Candidates Trained is 2431 Candidates Assessed is 1890 Candidates Certified is1453 Candidates Placed is 353.
11 SCVT I.T.Is have got Affiliation from SCVT there by 2126 trainees will get NCVT certificate
